Can you give a young woman's parakeets a new home?

UPDATE: We had a great response for these birds and each one of them has gone to a new home!

These three parakeets went to live with a young woman just a few months ago. When she got sick, her friend gifted her with the birds, thinking they would keep her company. Soon after, the young woman was admitted to hospice. Due to her rapid decline, she is no longer able to care for the birds and would like to find new homes for her parakeets.

The parakeets are young, they share a cage, get along well, love being talked to, and in turn, will sing for you.

Can You Help Brindle?

Can you give Brindle a new home? Brindle showed up on our patient’s doorstep several years ago -- and was an instant “best friend” from that point on. Our patient moved into a facility, and Brindle needs a new home and a new best friend.

He is an 8 year old male, neutered, with all up-to-date shots and vaccinations. He is calm, obedient and gets along well with other dogs. He is currently an indoor/outdoor dog who loves to chase lizards! Bridle also makes a good guard dog, barking only when necessary.

Do you have room in your heart for this healthy and very adoptable dog? Hope can help get you started with supplies and support. Call Colette J. at 239-482-4673 if you are interested in Brindle.

Colby Joins His New Family

Pet Peace of Mind found a new, loving home for Colby. He went to live with one of Hope’s employees, Charity, who fell in love at first sight.

"Colby is just what my family was looking for, and he's adjusting beautifully," said Charity. This picture was taken with Munkin, the family cat, after the two enjoyed a night of play!
